GE-OLOGY's signature monthly event, four years running, LIFE ON MARS is back, tonight, but with a CHANGE OF VENUE. It would seem, sadly, that New York City has lost another musically important nightlife destination, The subMercer. In GE-OLOGY's own words, ...my favorite home for playing & sharing music the past 4 years, The subMercer. Trust me, this wasn't any ordinary venue... The subMercer was REALLY SPECIAL, an endangered species, especially for us folks who truly & deeply care about music and the survival of quality nightlife venues in NYC... subMercer was also a very tight knit family of like-minded, creative, fashionable, respectful, beautiful individuals (inside and out) who care about providing a quality experience for it's patrons and each other... Great Weekend's debut release on Wurst Records is now available on vinyl and digital . TimeOut gives it four stars . Release party this Saturday, June 19, at the subMercer.
